Christopher Ellis Closes The Decade at London’s Jazz Cafe

As I write this article, I realise that I’ve attended every single Christopher Ellis show at the Jazz Café since 2012, so it’s only right that I complete the set and witness the last one of the decade this Sunday. Despite being born into Reggae Royalty as he puts it, Christopher doesn’t often try to subscribe to labels and simply continues creating music that he enjoys.Christopher Ellis, General Gen

On his return to this very familiar Jazz Cafe stage, I think we can expect a well seasoned performance with hits from Alton Ellis’ legendary catalogue, alongside an array of his very own creations which have kept us swaying over the years. Although we are still awaiting the release of his debut album from the Ghetto Youths International label, we are very much looking forward to celebrating the years with Christopher Ellis. and will hopefully be treated to some exclusives in return.

As expected from previous years, seated upstairs tickets for the show have already sold out, but you can still secure your spot in Jazz Café this Sunday via this link.
